2nd Day Kiddush Bakers

Sisterhood is now looking for bakers to volunteer to bake for the 2nd Day Rosh Hashanah Kiddush on Friday, September 10. Please contact Monya Philip at monyaphillip@yahoo.com to volunteer.

School Supply Drive

Sisterhood is again collecting school supplies for schools in less affluent sections of Anne Arundel and Prince Georges counties.  Please think of the disadvantaged children in these counties as you purchase school supplies for your own children and pick-up a few extra items for children who may not be as fortunate.  Most stores, including Staples, K-Mart and Target in the Temple area, are having wonderful sales this week, so this is the time to buy. We have a basket set-up in the coatroom of the Temple for your donated items. Thanks in advance for your generosity.

2010 Entertainment Books
Once again, Sisterhood is offering Entertainment Books this fall. Both DC and Baltimore editions are available, at a cost of $30 each. Each book contains over $13,000 in potential savings - they also make great gifts! To order, please contact Loren Weisman at lorenw507@verizon.net or 301-860-0841. Be sure to include in your email which edition you are ordering. Loren will also be at Temple at the end of the opening day of Religious School, Sunday, August 29. After that date, books will be available for purchase at the Judaica Shop whenever it is open.
